I love this game. I'm keen to try out the two player mode, but the network stuff didn't seem to work on OSX. Single player worked perfectly though!
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Summoner's Handbook is an asymmetric two player roguelike, where each must summon minions to defend their side of the dungeon, and attack the opposing side. This is a "pure" roguelike in that it has turn-by-turn grid movement, but each side of the dungeon has its own turn cycle so players are not restricted by one another.
There is also a single player defence mode, where 10 waves of increasingly huge hordes attack, while you must summon enough minions to hold them back.
Made for the 7 Day Roguelike Challenge 2019.

Requires Java, and OpenGL2+
The jar file should run just like an exe (or other OS equivilent)
Theoretically works on macs and *nixes, but is entirely untested on either. Edit: Brief access to ubuntu shows the game works but has some odd shader issues which cause flickering lights. Probably better avoided.

Thanks! Im sorry but I dont have access to an osx device to troubleshoot with directly, but I suspect the cause to be a blocking firewall on either or both devices. SH uses port 666 so opening that up might do the trick.
Single player, dismissed a 2x Bonelings summoning circle with 2 dead bonelings between rounds and this happened. Windows 10, Java 8 Update 181. Can't seem to reproduce, but wanted to give you a heads up. Nice game so far :)
